Whatever happened to the Balanced Budget Amendment?
Of course a Balanced Budget Amendment - which Mitch McConnell told me he supported on a Louisville, KY, bound flight - would in theory force Washington’s professional politicians to stop deficit spending. That was decades ago, and I have not heard McConnell mention it since. Would Meet the Press’ Chuck Todd dare ask?
